Fat Heads provide the artwork for a new book about football’s hidden side.
They say “never judge a book by its cover” but we think in this case we can make an exception. Former professional footballer Jacinto Elá Eyene has just brought out a book detailing the World of Football’s hidden side. Fat Heads have provided the book’s cover artwork.
Fútbol B, published by Ultras, exposes some of the darker aspects of ‘The Beautiful Game’ and acts as a helpful warning to young players starting out in the sport. As an ex-professional, Elá has plenty of first-hand experience to pass on to the book’s readers following his time as a player at clubs such as Southampton, Espanyol, Dundee and Aláves among others. Elá also played at international level for Spain (under 18) and Equatorial Guinea (under 23).
Fat Heads were delighted with the chance to provide the book’s cover illustration which depicts a young footballer (not unlike Elá) celebrating to the crowd while his despairing shadow casts an ominous glimpse as to what happens off the pitch and away from the limelight.
