Fat Heads attended the Football Supporters Federation Awards at the Tower of London.

Fat Heads were sent to the Tower of London last night and despite the generous refreshments on offer, managed to not lose their heads.

The Football Supporters Federation Awards took place at the stunning Pavilion venue located in the Tower’s grounds. Fat Head’s very own Rick designs the front cover artwork for United We Stand and was in attendance in the hope that the Manchester United fanzine could win the award for Fanzine of the Year.

Rick has produced 70 cover designs since 2012 for the long-running magazine, spanning eight football seasons.

Alas, the award went to The Popular Stand (Doncaster Rovers) and United We Stand, who still have the proud honour for being shortlisted eight years running, were unable to add to their 2012 win.

As disappointing as the result was, a great night was still to be had in the company of supporter groups, football club representatives, journalists and pundits. There were even a few famous faces such as SKY commentator Martin Tyler and footballers Gary Neville, Robbie Savage and Beth Mead who all picked up various awards.

Fat Heads would like to thank the Football Supporters Federation for their hospitality and United We Stand for inviting us along for the event.
