Cheetham Hill Construction Limited, based in North Manchester, are a long time client of Fat Heads since 2010 when we first redeveloped their old website. We’ve teamed up again with the civil engineering and construction contractors to refresh their website once more.

The existing website worked perfectly for CHC but as the business has continued to grow and web technology has moved on greatly the site and the supporting content management system was no longer suitable and proving difficult to administrate. The former website was not responsive across mobile and tablet browsers, the content had expanded and had become difficult to navigate and the Plant Hire section where visitors could browse and request information about CHC’s equipment was limited

Cheetham Hill Construction had access to some stunning photography from their projects and felt that the old website wasn’t set up to showcase these adequately.

Through implementing features such as full-width banners, large thumbnails and slideshows, we ensured that the new site gave CHC the opportunity to utilise the great assets at their disposal.

Job Opportunities

A fast-growing company like CHC are regularly on the lookout for new recruits. We created a dedicated careers page where all availabilities can be listed and applicants can register interest or even upload a CV. The homepage includes a section which highlights some of the most recent listings, offering a brief insight into the location and role of each opportunity.

Product Listings

The plant hire portal page showcases the impressive product catalogue that CHC has to offer. The listings can be filtered by vehicle type allowing the user to quickly navigate to a specific product.

Individual product pages offer a further in-depth look into each piece of equipment, displaying information such as stats and key features. Equipment enquiry forms are featured on each listing to ensure the user can quickly get in touch about a product.
