Paddy Power Cheltenham Illustration

After the success of the Premier League Moments project last summer, we were delighted when the team over at Paddy Power got back in touch with plans to create another promotional jigsaw puzzle.

The second in the jigsaw series was to be a celebration of the Cheltenham Festival, one of the biggest and most loved events in the horse racing calendar.

From famous Gold Cup winners, to fan favourite crowd characters, we were tasked with creating an exciting piece of artwork that illustrated notable moments that have taken place at the event over the years.

It wouldn’t be a true Paddy Power promotion without a bit of humour and the Cheltenham puzzle is certainly no exception.

In amongst the obvious racing winners, the heroes in the background will grab the real fans’ attention by featuring some of the more niche festival references and comedic characters. There’s even a special tribute to the four lads in a certain viral meme, which was at the peak of its powers around the inception of the project.

Social Media Promotion

The final jigsaw was part of a very limited print run meaning only a select few punters could get their hands on it.

Paddy Power promoted the puzzle as part of an exclusive giveaway across their Twitter and Instagram channels and we were over the moon with some of the feedback we spotted in the responses.
